Responsibilities
Develop the computer science skills of students through fun projects that involve block-coding and the Python programming language
Inspire students through a fun, engaging, and positive attitude
Requirements, Skills, and Experience
Working toward a STEM-related bachelor’s degree or any education degree
Some computer science/programming experience
Comfortable working with students from Grade 3 to Grade 12
Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
Very strong English skills (both written and verbal)
First aid certified (preferable, but not necessary)
Must be able to pass a police background check for working with children (mandatory)
Position Type
Part-time (flexible hours)
Classes will be held in New Westminster or Burnaby
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
New Westminster, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Work Location: In person
